Dimitri Tsiridakis
With over 30 years of professional engagements in Technology, Dimitris held numerous jobs acquiring experience across all domains of Technology, including:
– Design / Codding of Middleware / Application systems,
– Hardware / Software Architectures,
– Methodologies / Quality Systems,
– Processes Design / Development,
– Process Frameworks,
– Strategy,
– Core Systems Migrations,
– Project / Program Management, and
– Middle / Top Management.
Dimitris started his carrier in Greece in 1978, during his military obligations, where he re-architected the navy personnel tracking system from batch to a Data base system. He then joined the support ranks of a Computer vendor where he was involved from system programming jobs to application programming to finally becoming responsible for all country installations (100+ Data Centers).
In 1983 he joined SAMBA Financial Group in Riyadh. During his 18 years with SAMBA, he was involved with all aspects of Banking Technology. From 1991 to 1992 he was the head of Retail technology and from 1993 to 2001 he was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Bank.
In 2001 he joined Egnatia Bank in Greece as Chief Technology Officer and Business Organization Head. Beyond his CTO duties he was responsible for setting up all operational aspects for new Business Units as well as re-engineering existing Business Units for maximum efficiencies.
In 2004 he resigned from Egnatia and is engaged in consultancy activities with banks in the Gulf Region. During the recent years, he main focus is on Core Migrations, High availability set ups, Cobit5 implementations and Digital Banking Strategies.
